Students will have an opportunity to improve their speaking skills and engage in meaningful conversation while learning English. The teacher will introduce a new topic during each class in which students will be able to take turns and share their own thoughts and ideas. Students can also bring things to share as well as the teacher will include a portion of show and tell during each session. This is a great opportunity for students to make new friends, learn how to participate in a group conversation and have fun learning a new language all at the same time. Wk 1: What is your favorite toy? Wk 2: Who is your favorite superhero? Wk 3: What is your favorite movie? Wk 4: What is your favorite food?

Students will learn how to express themselves using the English language. Students will learn how to participate in a conversation. They will learn how to take turns, listen and share in a group.

Dr. Vania Scarborough:
Dr. Vania is an experienced, bilingual, compassionate, and creative Spanish teacher with over one decade of teaching experience including higher education instruction, tutoring in Spanish, and virtual language instruction. Dr. Scarborough is a native Spanish speaker with a Postgraduate Degree from the International University of Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, and a DDS from a prestigious university in South America. This, coupled to her ample linguistic experience as a professional Spanish translator, interpreter, and proofreader are the reasons behind Dr. Scarborough’s superb reading, writing and linguistic skills in Spanish. In fact, it is her deep love and knowledge of Spanish grammar, and a genuine vocation of service, which thoroughly inform all her teaching and allow her to provide all her Spanish students with a highly professional and effective Spanish language immersion learning experience.
