¡Dividamos el agua por la mitad! La electrólisis del agua: ¿magia o ciencia?

This hands-on class explores the a decomposition chemical reaction using the electrolysis of water.  Learners will be able to see with their own eyes liquid water splitting in to hydrogen and oxygen gasses.

Learners will interact initially with me via conversation about the subject.  This will help gauge the student's current level of understanding.  Then based on this conversation I will help the student better understand and hopefully master the subject.

They will learn the basics of matter and how they interact to transform into different matter (e.g. chemical reaction).  We will use the scientific method to predict, record, conclude, and suggest improvements on our experiment. 

Learners will be able to interact and collaborate ideas with classmates during the class.

They have the option to view this experiment or try at home along with the me.  We will use common household items to complete the experiment. 

Learners will learn by guided examples, meaningful illustrations, and asking clarifying questions of each other and me.  I will attempt to ensure that each student's understanding is growing at their own pace.  Students are invited to help other students with their questions as well.
