Hablemos tagalo: Introducción a la lengua filipina

In this one time class, students will get a basic understanding of the Philippines, its culture and languages. We will then focus on Tagalog which is the national language of the Philippines. We will learn greetings and introductions. 

Students will be taught pronunciation and intonation of words and sentences. If need be, I will introduce the basics of reading Tagalog words. The students will spend some time practicing with me and with each other during class. At the end of the class, each student will be expected to be able to introduce themselves in Tagalog.

Everything about this class is basic. It is perfect for those who have not taken any prior Tagalog courses. I offer other Filipino classes for beginning learners from 4-18 years old.
