In this beginning reading course, young students will explore Cvc words (consonant, vowel, consonant) and sight words. We will explore letter sounds and use reading strategies in a fun and engaging manner.

Closing and Goodbyes

Learners will complete various literacy activities with the teacher and other learners. Slides will be utilized in class. 

Learners will interact with each other and the teacher during the welcome and introductions, warm-up, slides, discussion, questions, and goodbyes. Students will interact with the slides, dance, and sing with the teacher and other learners. 

My teaching style is that of a constructivist. I believe that children learn best through learning in an interactive manner. Students will be able to move, count, and chant during the lesson and act upon their learning.
