Are you ready to be hooked on phonics? During this course, I will be teaching all the things phonics. Letters, letter sounds, and how to write letters... Oh my! This course will be structured as I do, we do, and you do. This means first I will model, then the scholar and I will do it together, and lastly the scholar will be do it independently. In this course, there will be engaging videos to support letter recognition, letter sounds, and how to write the letters. I will also have flash cards with pictures to support the scholars. This course will engage in slogans to help the scholars how to remember how to write the letters. Scholars will be engaged and interact with myself with different slogans and letter sounds. Lastly, there will be sky writing to ensure that scholars will be able to practice writing the letter in the air first before practicing independently. I am excited to have your scholar in this course and in the end your scholar will be hooked on phonics!

Hello my name is Mikelle and I've been educator for over 5 years. I have completed my masters of education with a concentration of SpEd from Grand Canyon University. My goal as an teacher make learning fun, be a positive example, and to make an impact upon my scholars. I enjoy teaching a plethora of subjects such as reading, math, phonics, and writing. It's important for me to create a warm, nurturing, and enrich learning environment to my scholars.
The philosophy behind my teaching is every child's learning ability is unique. The most important value is not only teaching the how but the why's of foundation . With that said, it's important to implement an environment where my scholar's social, emotional, and academics mindset can foster. It's essential to apply modifications that suits each scholar's learning abilities . In order to stimulate growth and create a higher thinking order it's vital to assess. Nonetheless, I construct enjoyable, yet enhanced materials into my curriculum for students to gain better understanding & for students to relate to.
