In this one time class students will draw and paint a guinea pig We will start off by taking a quick look at pictures of guinea pigs I will then work step by step with students to break the guinea pig into simple shapes and start drawing Next we will add a face and ears A horizon line, grass and a few flowers will be added Once our drawing is complete we will paint it in. - Improve drawing and painting skills
8” x 10” or slightly larger Watercolor/study paper and Watercolor, Tempera or Acrylic paint *** OR **** 8” x 10” or slightly larger Canvas and Acrylic paint. Please do not use a canvas/paper 2-3 times this size as the class then ends up taking much longer Paint colors: At least the primary colors of red, yellow and blue plus black and white Pencil Water container Eraser Brushes in a couple sizes (tiny for details and larger for background areas) Takes forever to paint large areas with a tiny brush Paper towel
