One of the hardest but most important concepts in life for students to fully master is how to be a good winner and loser. Beginning in kindergarten students will be connected to competition throughout their lives. It is important for students to know that winning and succeeding is an important part of life, but that losing is also equally important. In this ongoing class, students will participate in a new online game each week. The game will be screen shared through my computer, and all students will participate. Some weeks we will all be on the same team and students will work on team work and communication skills. Other weeks students will be on their own teams during the activity. No matter what kind of game we are playing their will be an emphasis on learning and practicing to be a good winner and loser. 

It is important for our children to know that if you are losing it is ok to feel mad or sad but it is not ok to say hurtful things to others. If you are winning it is great to feel happy but it is not nice to brag or make fun of other players. 

Always remember, Being a Good Loser is the Mark of a Good Winner!!

Please Note For All Of My Classes for Students with Autism, ADHD and Neurodiverse learners I will also be providing numerous learning options so no matter what kind of learner students are, they will be able to grasp the material. If you child is a visual learner, we will have numerous PowerPoints, charts, graphs and diagrams so they can see all the information. If they are an auditory learner, I was always make sure to explain everything thoroughly so students. Even if your child is a kinesthetic learner, there will be time that we will be moving to practice our winning and losing skills. Most importantly this class is a no judgement zone. Every student will feel safe and able to be themselves in this class while they learn and have fun!
