Aprendiendo habilidades de liderazgo: ¿en Minecraft Dungeons puedes vencer al malvado IIIager?

Your objective is to protect villagers from the evil Arch-Illager, the main antagonist in the game, and his armies. "Minecraft Dungeons" takes the relatable and fun parts of the dungeon crawler genre -- such as hunting for treasure chests, looting decent weapons, and cooperating to defeat a boss -- and simplifies them. Students will play together in pods of 4, working on effective communication, leadership and comparing and comtrasting their methods with 2 other pods of teams. There will be breakout rooms used in this class. 

Each class will end with a debriefing session, that is about 5 mins long to take in strengths and weakness of the teams and where improvements could be made. 

Week One - What is effective communication?
Week two - Essential roles of survival.
Week three - Building the ultimate finding the ultimate treasure.
Week four - Triage, why it works.
Week five - Team play, who is the stronger team and why?
Week six - Why yelling never works?
Week seven - Crafting is an art.


Regarding Minecraft:
Each student will need a Minecraft account.  Any version of Minecraft (PC/Mac computer, Minecraft for Windows10, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or other gaming consoles, Minecraft PE for iPad, Android tablets, etc.) will work for this course. The purchase of Minecraft Dungeons must be made separately and prior to the start of class. Students with a few months of Minecraft experience through play or otherwise, will have the skills needed to complete the builds and crafting in Minecraft. Minecraft is a building tool for this course (think of it as digital building blocks). The lessons and information in this course are not official Minecraft products and are not associated with Mojang.

What is NOT included:
This course will not include a group server. Technology can be unpredictable, glitches happen, or user connections can be poor, therefore expect some problems joining into my world/realm.
