Is your child struggling to write an evidence based essay? If you answered yes, the you've found the right class. I have created an easy to follow writing workshop that will help your child become a skilled writer. As an instructional designer and certified teacher, I have taken the time to break down the steps needed to write an essay in a way that is easy for kids ages 8-12 years old to understand and follow along. Learners will get the opportunity to master small and easy steps before moving on to more complicated writing tasks. 📖 What will be taught? Students will learn to write an informative and an opinion essay that meets or exceeds testing standards. 🗣️What topics will you cover? This class will cover the essay writing process. Students will learn a different topic each week. Weekly Lessons can be found under the syllabus. 🧩 How is your class structured? Students will watch a video lesson each week. Students will submit a weekly assignment using the features in the Outschool classroom, such file submissions and posting comments. Any required experience or knowledge learners need? Students should read at a third grade level at a minimum and know how to write a sentence in order to be successful in this class.
