1-2 horas por semana. Students will be expected to learn their songs at their own pace by putting in some time practicing at home in addition to class. Students should ideally practice for 20 minutes 4 times a week to learn the notes and pitches to their song and practice techniques learned in class. Everyone has different time constraints so this is just a suggestion for minimum ideal practice.

Experiencia de clase

In this ongoing private voice lesson class, students will benefit from one-on-one instruction and learn about vocal technique as they learn to sing and perform their own solo piece. Each week we will begin with breathing and vocal exercises designed to improve power, ease of production, agility, range, and confidence based on the individual needs of the student! Topics covered include important singing fundamentals such as breathe support, resonance, placement, tone, style, and more. Students will spend time working both technique as well as repertoire so they can receive guidance in crafting performance ready solos and audition pieces. I may also suggest repertoire for the student to explore to expand their knowledge of music and increase the number of songs in their arsenal. This is by request so message me to discuss a time slot!
As an added opportunity for them to perform in front of an audience of their peers, they can also register for my Recital Ready class so they can share a song they crafted in class and show off their hard work. Other topics that will be explored are high belting, navigating your break, finding your mix, accessing your head voice, vocal styles, riffing and runs, acting the song, reading music, crafting a performance, and more!
I want students to understand what the exercises are for and how to use them in their own practice at home so they can train the whole voice, not just learn an exercise. My teaching style focuses on building technique through training and knowledge, but also emphasizes having fun and building confidence so students can become the singer they want to be! #confidence
