¡Aprenda a dibujar una cara de tigre realista!

In this 10-week course, students will learn how to draw a tiger face using graphite pencil!

During this course, we will explore the art of drawing animals. Students will learn long and short hair drawing techniques, create depth through shading and blending, and practice drawing eyes and a tiger's nose to make it look realistic. 

For this course, I request that students have a set of drawing pencils. These do not have to be expensive, as the pencils I use cost about $8. I will link these pencils in the welcome post once students sign up, as well as a mechanical eraser that I recommend students use for this course. While working on our drawing, we will discuss the different drawing pencil hardnesses and I will explain which pencils work best for the specific areas of the drawing we are working on. Students will also practice using a mechanical eraser, which will help them create highlights throughout their drawing.

The lessons are scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes to make sure we have at least one full hour every class to draw. We will create as many details as we can in the allowed time, but students may be asked to work on finishing small areas outside of class so that we stay on track for our 10-week course. My teaching style is very relaxed, as I don't want anyone to feel pressure while drawing. We will make sure we keep a good pace while drawing, but will make sure no one feels rushed.

As a professional Artist with more than 10 years of professional drawing experience, I am excited to draw alongside your child and to help them improve their drawing skills, with the goal that they will become more confident with their artistic abilities! I believe that every person has the ability to create beautiful art, and kids especially have an eye for creating wonderful works of art. Drawing animals is my passion, and I am so excited to work on this drawing together!

**Students MUST have their drawing grid created prior to the first day of class. I will provide detailed instructions in the classroom post for students to create this and come prepared on the first day. This should not take them more than 5-10 minutes to prepare.
