Week 8: Games Programming Objective: Students will learn to use the library pygame to build a simple game. Week 9: Interfacing Hardware Objective: Students will learn how to interface electronic components with the Raspberry Pi’s GPIO pins. Some of the components are breadboards, LEDs, resisters and capacitors. Week 10: LED Fader Project Objective: Students will create a program to control the display of a multi-color LED using the Tkinter library and the RPi.GPIO power management feature. Week 11: Python Project - Clock Objective: Students will create a digital clock building on knowledge learned in previous classes. Week 12: Raspberry Pi Robot Objective: Students will learn to program a Raspberry Pi controlled Robot combining all the skills learned in this series. Each week the students will submit a completed assignment to the Outschool classroom. *Please note, grades (letter/percentage) are not issued for this course. **The closing date for classes will be one week after the last session. Work submitted after the close date will not receive feedback. For interaction: Students will post their work in the classroom to share with one another. Students will ask each other questions and be able to give tips and demonstrations to explore new and innovative ways to code in Python. Students can post screenshots in the classroom to receive feedback from me as well as other students. The more we share, the more we will learn. I will be checking the classroom every Monday and Thursday to give feedback and to answer questions. I look forward to working with as you learn Python!
