Experiencia de clase

In this four week flex class course, students will be introduced to the basics of Korean! Students will learn common Korean phrases, how to introduce themselves, colors, animals, numbers, and the basics of the Korean alphabet (Hangul)! The class will be very fun and easy going, and will encourage a love of the language! We will practice introducing ourselves, and practice common phrases that are necessary for conversation in Korean- let's have fun and learn Korean! This class is the flex version of "Korean Introduction for Beginners Part 1" that I offer on Outschool. This class will be very interactive as students will post videos/voice recordings of them speaking in Korean, post pictures of their writing, and we will have a section for students to practice conversing with one another in Korean! Each week I will post a 25 minute video explaining the concepts below, then I will post discussion questions, challenge activities, or ask students to share examples of their work weekly in the classroom. Here is a rough outline of each class:

Week 1: Video teaching "to be" in Korean. We will have a self introduction discussion in the classroom, students will post an audio/video recording introducing themselves to the class, and I will post a discussion question to the class.

Week 2: Video teaching present progressive tense (-ING). Students will post an audio or video recording of themselves speaking several of the sentences from this class, and I will post a game where we will practice ING tense to the classroom.

Week 3: Video the "Want to" verb ending. We will have a discussion in the classroom using Korean, and I will send a Kahoot game where students can practice using the want to form!

Week 4: Video teaching self-introductions and present tense. We will have a self introduction discussion in the classroom, students will post an audio/video recording introducing themselves to the class, and students will share an example of some of their work throughout this course. I will also have an interactive quiz game over everything we have learned in this course.
