In this one time course, I will teach and describe some basic kitchen safety rules. During class we'll start with a short introduction, then we'll dive into the course. I will teach by leading discussion with the group and using a few examples so students can practice these safety tips if they choose. 

During this course we will discuss the following topics:
Kitchen Hygiene and Sanitation
Knife Safety
Fire Safety
Cooking and Cooling Safety
Question and Answer Session

This class is perfect for a newbie or reluctant cook in the kitchen. Sometimes the best way to reduce fear is to provide a safe space to use the things that scare us! It will be a good foundation for lifelong success in the kitchen. I will provide several documents for reference on these topics. I prefer to have open ended discussion where students feel safe to ask questions, so you will not find an all mute class here!
