Plan de estudios de matemáticas para jardín de infantes (¡impartido por un maestro certificado)!

In this 12-week self-paced (asynchronous) class, we will have a blast learning the most commonly taught math skills during the Kindergarten school year!  We will use various objects, pictures, an online whiteboard, etc to help us learn these skills.  

Each lesson will include pre-recorded, engaging educational videos posted in the classroom.  Watch and interact with the videos at the time that is most convenient for you.  That's one thing I love about self-paced classes.  Everybody's schedule is different, and we live in a variety of time zones.  It makes it easier when we can focus on our learning when it is best for us to.  

Each lesson will also include a fun learning activity.  The instructions will be posted with each assignment.  All learning activities are optional.


Class learning objectives:

Lesson 1: Learn how to identify/count numbers (0-10) using objects (Naruto (anime) theme).

Lesson 2: Learn how to identify/count numbers (0-10) using pictures (Naruto (anime) theme).

Lesson 3: Learn how to identify/count numbers (11-20) using objects (Naruto (anime) theme).

Lesson 4:  Learn how to identify/count numbers (11-20) using pictures (Naruto (anime) theme).

Lesson 5: Learn how to solve basic addition problems by adding 1-digit numbers (0-9) together using objects (non-word problems) (no theme).

Lesson 6: Learn how to solve basic addition problems by adding 1-digit numbers (0-9) together using pictures (non-word problems) (Pokemon theme).

Lesson 7: Learn how to solve basic subtraction problems by subtracting 1-digit numbers (0-9) using objects (non-word problems) (NBA theme).

Lesson 8: Learn how to solve basic subtraction problems by subtracting 1-digit numbers (0-9) using pictures (non-word problems) (Sonic the Hedgehog theme).

Lesson 9: Learn how to identify 2D shapes (square, circle, triangle, rectangle) (Spiderman theme).

Lesson 10: Learn how to sort items by color and size (unicorn theme).

Lesson 11: Learn how to sort items by shape (puppies theme).

Lesson 12: Learn how to identify patterns (emojis theme).


This class is loaded with fun!  It is important that we learn and master basic math skills in order to be able to move to more complex math skills.  I hope your engines are ready!  I hope you're ready for blast off!  This is going to be an experience that you've never been a part of before!  I'm ready, and I hope you are too!  Ok learners...It's time!
