Welcome to Brilliant Blossoms, a fun and engaging small group tutoring class designed to help young learners grow and thrive in reading, math, and early learning skills! Through interactive activities, hands-on learning, and group participation, your child will develop key skills in a supportive and encouraging environment—all in just 30 minutes!

What Will Be Taught?

This class focuses on essential early learning skills, including literacy, numeracy, fine motor development, and social skills. Each session is designed to keep young learners engaged while reinforcing important concepts.

What Topics Will You Cover?
	•	Reading & Phonics: Letter sounds, sight words, blending, and early reading skills
	•	Math Foundations: Counting, number recognition, patterns, basic problem-solving
	•	Fine Motor Skills: Writing, tracing, and hands-on activities for coordination
	•	Social & Cognitive Skills: Listening, turn-taking, confidence-building

How is Your Class Structured?

Each 30-minute session follows a structured, engaging format:
	1.	Welcome & Warm-Up (5 minutes) – A fun song, movement activity, or question to get students engaged.
	2.	Main Lesson (10 minutes) – Focus on the day’s topic (reading, math, or fine motor skills) using interactive slides and storytelling.
	3.	Hands-On Learning (10 minutes) – Fun activities like games, drawing, or counting exercises to reinforce the lesson.
	4.	Wrap-Up & Review (5 minutes) – A quick recap with a fun challenge, goodbye song, or sharing time.

How Will You Teach?

I use a multi-sensory teaching approach that includes storytelling, visuals, movement-based learning, and hands-on activities. Lessons are engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate, keeping young learners focused and excited to participate.

Week of March 3rd: ABC & 123 Kickoff!

Focus: Letter recognition, phonics, counting, and number recognition
	•	Day 1: Alphabet & Letter Sounds – Introduce letters A-D, practice phonics sounds, and play a “Letter Hunt” game. Hands-on activity: Tracing and coloring letters.
	•	Day 2: Numbers & Counting – Learn numbers 1-5 with a fun counting activity (using toys or objects). Play a movement-based “Hop & Count” game to reinforce number recognition.

Week of March 10th: Building Strong Foundations

Focus: Blending sounds, number sequencing, and fine motor skills
	•	Day 1: Phonics & Early Reading – Practice blending two-letter sounds (e.g., “at,” “in”) with a word-building game. Read a short story and discuss key sounds.
	•	Day 2: Number Order & Fine Motor Skills – Arrange numbers 1-10 in order, play a “What’s Missing?” game, and practice writing numbers using tracing sheets.
Week of March 17th: Growing Bright Minds

Focus: Sight words, early addition, and problem-solving
	•	Day 1: Sight Words & Rhyming Fun – Introduce five beginner sight words (e.g., the, and, is, it, can). Play a rhyming word-matching game and practice writing words.
	•	Day 2: Simple Addition & Problem-Solving – Use hands-on objects (blocks, fingers) to solve basic addition problems. Play a “Math Mystery” game where students solve mini-puzzles.

Week of March 24th: Confidence & Creativity

Focus: Review key skills, boost confidence, and encourage creativity
	•	Day 1: Storytelling & Retelling – Read a short story, then have students retell it using pictures and sequencing cards. Hands-on drawing activity: “Draw Your Own Story.”
	•	Day 2: Fun Review & Celebration! – Play review games covering letters, numbers, and sight words. End with a fun activity like a virtual “Show & Tell” or a movement game to celebrate progress!
