In this 9-week course that meets once per week, we will review key Prealgebra topics essential for success in Algebra 1 including integers, fractions, expressions, equations, inequalities, graphing, and more. To create a more active learning experience, I will provide a worksheet for your learner to fill out as we go over the concepts together. Then we may discuss questions that require thinking deeper about the concepts, or we may engage in a game/activity to practice applying the concept(s). I will encourage questions and active participation. I will also provide a self-gradingassignment that learners may use after each class to evaluate their comprehension of the concepts.
