Programación en Java para principiantes, nivel 2: aprendizaje basado en proyectos

Javascript is a very popular programming language of the web and one of the easier ones to learn. In this class, learners will learn through various small projects which help them build their final project in the end. 

Students need to use a computer for this class. For best results students can use 2 devices , one for the zoom meeting and the other for coding. 
Students should be able to read words for this class. 

Day 1: Revisiting the basics 
Recalling what we did in level 1 and writing simple codes to display current time and date 

Day 2 : Understanding Objects  
Introduction to OOPS and understanding gaming with it 

Day 3: String methods and Search
Extracting , replacing and converting strings 

Day 4 and 5: Arrays and Array method:
Understanding what are arrays and looping through an array.

Day 6: Revisiting Loops and Conditionals
Using loops and conditionals in various class tasks to understand in OOPS implementation

Day 7: Revisiting Functions and This keyword 
Understanding what are functions and using the this keyword for OOPS programming 

Day 8 , 9 and 10 : Final Project Tetris game 
Students will create their own Tetris game using the concepts learnt in previous days 

Learners will be asked to apply logic and write parts of the code themselves. They will be taught how to debug the codes too. These are not lecture classes and so the teachers will be interacting by asking the learners for examples and helping them write codes on those. 
These classes flow as per the understanding of the learners and so it would vary in complexity for the specific group. Also the days can vary for the course depending on what all the learners are able to cover.
