Welcome, Parents and Students!

I teach courses designed to help learners build essential skills for success, focusing on English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR) for elementary students and life skills for middle and high schoolers. My offerings also include introductory business classes that cover key concepts and basic principles.

I hold a B.A. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Higher Education. With over 20 years of experience, including teaching 3rd grade and working with two of the largest online universities, I’ve seen firsthand how many students need support to succeed in school and beyond. My goal is to bridge that gap by helping students define their own version of success and equipping them with the tools to achieve it.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that education unlocks doors of opportunity. I bring enthusiasm, creativity, and real-world connections to make learning engaging and relevant. I also incorporate reflective essays, encouraging students to deepen their thinking through written communication.

As a parent of four, I understand how diverse learning styles can be! I strive to make every class a positive and empowering experience for all learners.
