Are you being rude, mean or a bully? In this class we will discuss not only how we see these differences but how others may handle our choices. We may say or do something and think nothing of it, but it may hurt or anger someone else. On the other side, someone may say something that hurts or angers us and then disregards how we feel.

By having a conversation about the differences between being rude, mean or a bully, it will help us to see other people's perspective and in turn we will be more conscious about our choices.

We will cover are gossip, name calling, excluding or targeting others, tone of voice, interrupting and focusing on what others do. Most importantly, we talk about RESPECT! Not only what we deserve but how important it is that we show it.

Week one: Showing respect, to parents, teachers, friends and in school. As well as respecting the same in return.

Week two: RUDE! From rolling our eyes to tone of voice, being rude is an intentional, one time moment.

Week three: MEAN! Name calling to gossip. Excluding others or continuing a behavior after someone tells you to stop.

Week four: BULLY! Targeting one or more people, lying about your behavior and making physical contact with another person.

Week five: What can we do about it? Taking responsibility for our actions to finding help!

Week six: How do bullies still have friends? Fostering relationships with kind people and building our self esteem!

The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.
