I have a Bachelor's of Arts in English from Marist College. I am offering this class to help build a solid foundation for the academic English. Teaching mostly in middle and high schools, it has become apparent to me that modern students have a weak foundation in English Language Arts. So much emphasis is placed on technology that teaching basic grammar and comprehension skills have become obsolete. Students' comprehension skills are very basic in structure and effort. So, I have decided to become part of the solution.
