This is a fact-based course. I don't anticipate sensitive topics being discussed. I don't believe parental guidance is required.
NONE are needed. One book that is a nice easy overview of introductory psychology is "A Degree in a Book: Psychology: Everything You Need to Know to Master the Subject ... In One Book!" by Alan Porter. It can be found new or used on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1788883365/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
