In this one-time class, students will be introduced to different methods of multiplication including: equal groups, repeated addition, & creating arrays. Students will be exposed to different multiplication methods and will work through the thought process of choosing the appropriate method to complete these problems. Students should have experience in addition and subtraction and should be able to easily add single digits mentally. This class does not focus on memorizing multiplication facts but rather the understanding and breakdown of multiplication. My teaching style is high energy and fun! I love breaking down hard difficult topics and easing a student's mind. Our class will interact via a short lecture, practice problems and a game at the end of our class together.
