This class is more than just listen and repeat and students can develop a strong foundation for French if they study the materials provided. The grammar is explained in such a way that students who wish to understand French thoroughly can be challenged, but I also support students who are not prepared for deeper grammar or vocabulary study. My classroom is welcoming to students of all levels. Notes will be provided in advance of each class, which students may reference in class as needed. My family is Québecoise and I grew up speaking French. I also formally studied French for 7 years.
Metas de aprendizaje
Students will gain confidence in learning and speaking French and learn core vocabulary. Students will be able to use key words and phrases to express basic concepts.

Orientación para padres
Each class ends with a bit about a French speaking country. Belgium's national symbol is a little boy peeing called Manneken Pis. There is a reference to this with three pictures of statues peeing. The statues are all clothed. I can provide a copy of the pictures in advance of the class and skip this slide if desired.
Vocabulary notes will be provided before class. Review of vocabulary before and between classes is strongly encouraged.
