Students will learn how to draw a stuffed animal by looking for basic shapes that make up the toy. They will learn how to connect those shapes and how to show different textures by using pencil and colored pencils. We will have a few simple tools to help us get perfect circles but will draw other shapes. We will learn how to draw different textures like fur and smooth eyes using colored pencils. At the end we will have time to share each child's work. Any child will feel welcomed. No prior experience is needed for this class. Students will need a plastic cup, a quarter (or other coin), pencil, paper, and colored pencils (or something similar) with a pink, black, and peach or light pink color.
