Introducción a la animación stop motion: cómo hacer un vídeo stop motion con piezas de Lego para principiantes

Have you always wanted to create stop motion animation, but weren't sure where to start?  Join my class where we will bring brick-based action figures to life using the free app, Stop Motion Studio. The Stop Motion Studio app is the best app for kids to create action-filled videos and best of all it’s free. In this class, we will be focusing on 3D Brickfilms (movies made using brick-based toys like Lego™ or Mega Construx™ characters and constructions).

In this class, we will be learning the basics of stop motion filmmaking using brick-based action figures. I will give students an opportunity to explore the use of stop motion videos and create an engaging mini-animation Brickfilm.  We will spend time discussing how to set up our frames and animate Minifigures for our video sequence.  Then we will work with the Stop Motion Studio app using bricks controlled movement to make our mini stop motion Brickfilm.  Depending on time, students may also have some time to work on their stop motion videos during class.  After class, they can finish up their project and upload them to the classroom for everyone to enjoy.  

For this class, you will need an iPhone or iPad, a tripod, and the right software (Stop Motion Studio App).  This class does require the download of a separate free app, Stop Motion Studio, you can download to your phone or iPad. In order to make this class fun and exciting your child will need a separate device (iPhone or, iPad). Please make sure you do this before the class starts. It is recommended each student has a device (such as a cell phone or tablet) for the Stop Motion StudioApp, which will give your child the best experience possible.  Also, please bring a few brick-based toys like Lego™ or Mega Construx™ characters as well as other pieces for constructing the set, and a base plate to class.
