2-4 horas por semana. Each week students will be assigned homework to complete for the following week. There will also be a discussion prompt on flipgrid each week. Week 1: The assignment this week is to pick a president and to find 2-3 sources to research. Week 2: Students will take notes from their sources. Week 3: Students will write their paper. Week 4: Final paper and a presentation are due (presentations will be recorded and posted in our discussion group on Flipgrid).Evaluación
Final papers will be submitted to the teacher and graded on a rubric that will be provided during class.Calificación

Cross-Curricular Learning opportunity: History and English This 4 unit course will look at the basics of research papers. Students will learn about research, how to search topics, how to write notes, convert those notes into a paper and how to edit and revise the paper. Students will also learn how to create a presentation and poster for their topic.

Students will learn the basics of how to research and be introduced to finding sources, taking notes, writing a paper and how to create a works cited.

Students will be required to get on the internet to research their president. They can also use books if wanted. Students will need to be able to print a worksheet and take notes on their research. They will also need to be able to type up a paper to submit to the teacher.
