As this is a Summer Camp Creative Writing Course, the goal is to keep the workload light and fun for the students. Therefore, there will be no formal homework assigned. However, students will be encouraged to continue working on their writing projects outside of class time if they wish to do so. Students may also be encouraged to read examples of different types of writing, such as short stories, poems, or novels, to help inspire them and develop their understanding of different writing styles and techniques. In addition, students may be encouraged to keep a journal or notebook to jot down ideas, write down interesting observations, or record their thoughts and feelings. This can help them develop the habit of writing regularly and build their skills over time. Overall, the focus of this Summer Camp Creative Writing Course is to create a fun and engaging environment for students to explore their creativity and develop their writing skills, without adding additional pressure through formal homework assignments.

Hello there! My name is Abby, and I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community. I have been involved in the field of education for many years, both as a teacher and in administrative roles.

As a teacher, I have primarily focused on teaching English and reading, but I also have experience teaching cooking and crafting classes. I have written curriculum for various subjects and taught in various educational settings, including public and private schools, community centers, and online platforms.

One of the values that is central to my teaching philosophy is the belief that learning should be a fun and engaging experience. I believe that students learn best when they are excited and motivated about the material they are studying. To achieve this, I try to create a positive and interactive learning environment in my classes that encourages student participation and collaboration.

While I don't teach full time at this point, I continue to be passionate about education and enjoy working behind the scenes to support students and educators alike. In my current administrative role, I am involved in developing and implementing programs that enhance the educational experience of students.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my furry companion, Magnolia. She is a loyal and loving dog who never leaves my side, and I can't imagine life without her. I am also recently engaged and excited to begin planning my future with my soon-to-be husband!

I am honored to be a part of this community and look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with students and educators alike.
