In each ongoing, weekly, 25 minute class, we will go through 1 or 2 special video editing effects that you can use towards your videos that you are creating. Students will get the opportunity to request specific things to learn in the class and will also be able to share previous video editing work that has been preapproved by the teacher. These ongoing classes DO NOT build on each other, so students are able to enroll and attend when available. --------------------------------------- In each class, we will spend about 5-10 minutes brainstorming, sharing editing projects, and talking about what future editing tools they would like to learn. In the rest of the class, we will be demonstrating the new content and then sharing how they might use these new strategies for their own videos. If your learner is interested in using this class to learn to edit videos for a YouTube channel, please know, YouTube is intended for age 13 and older, however, students younger than 13 are able to create a YouTube channel under a parent's Gmail account and under the supervision of a parent.
Learners are encouraged to have Wondershare Filmora downloaded to their computer before class begins. Please note, if you choose to download this software, I encourage families to click the button that says "free download". This program is free to use, but it will have the brand watermark on the video. I do not encourage families to purchase any software in order to attend an editing class of mine. Feel free to continue to use the free version of this program, even throughout the course, until you are ready to purchase and annual subscription.
