In this class, we will practice conjugating verbs, speaking in Spanish, and writing in Spanish. We will learn new verbs in Spanish and how to use them in complete sentences to express our thoughts in Spanish. We will focus on a grammar topic each week as we work to increase fluency in Spanish. I earned a B.A. in Spanish from Grace College in Indiana. I had the opportunity to live and study in Madrid, Spain where I was immersed in the language and culture. I have formal experience teaching Spanish in a Texas middle school classroom for three years and have experience teaching virtually.

This can be printed out and used during the lesson or students can use a blank piece of paper. Every few weeks, we will have a small project to put what we are learning to use. Students may want to use crayons, colored pencils, or markers to add detail to their projects. These materials are not required, but will allow the students to be more creative as they create different projects.

YouTube may be used during class to show videos, short stories, or songs. These videos will help students remember different conjugations, sentence structures, and "rules" in Spanish. These will be screen shared by the teacher and do not require students to access YouTube.
