Clase de gimnasia de nivel intermedio (25 minutos)

En esta clase nos centraremos en cómo hacer paradas de manos, puentes, volteretas laterales, volteretas laterales con un brazo y rondadas con algo de trabajo de flexibilidad y fuerza. Desarrollaremos la técnica de patadas si su hijo está listo para eso.

Experiencia de clase

Students will be practicing intermediate skills. To be apart of this class you will have to have some prior experience with gymnastics , acrobatics or cheerleading/tumbling classes. Your gymnast will need an open place where they have lots of room to practice. They will also need to be on a mat, carpet or something soft for safety reasons. In this class we will start off by doing some cardio to get our heart rate up and our bodies warm to start our flexibility work. After some in depth stretching we will be working on our skills and practice correct form and technique. We will practice our handstands, bridges, cartwheel, one arm cartwheel, and roundoff. Depending on your child I may have them do some drills for bridge kick overs. After we work on our skills and drills we will do some conditioning to work on specific muscles that will help with each certain skill we practiced earlier. To concluded the class we will each take a turn to share what our goals are and what we want to improve on and show our classmates what our favorite skill was that we practice during this class. Since I was born and raise in Hawaii I will teach something unique about the islands at the end of the class. I look forward to meeting your gymnast!

Please practice gymnastics in a safe space with no obstacles in the way. (coffee tables, breakable valuables, etc.) Also, provide a soft area (gymnastics mat, yoga mat, carpet) for your gymnast to practice on. Parental Guidance is strongly encouraged for each class.
