Clases de piano de nivel intermedio, sesión de verano (de 10 a 14 años)

Designed for students with several years of piano experience, this class focuses on the unique technical and interpretive issues found in intermediate piano repertoire.  Students will develop these skills while playing repertoire that will be assigned after an initial consultation.  While learning these music-specific concepts, students will be developing general skills including active listening, critical thinking, fine-motor skills, and self-discipline.  Since this is a one-on-one class, the lessons will be tailored to each individual student's learning style, in a relaxed, fun teaching environment.  The number of pieces, and the pace at which we work on them, will be determined by what is best for the individual student.  Regular practice on a keyboard or piano in the student's home is required between each weekly lesson.  It is assumed that the student will have a background in reading musical notation.
