Did you know that over 2,400 species of Mantises have been described and that they are most closely related to termites and cockroaches? In this class we will learn all about these fascinating animals. We will learn about their body structure, their behaviour their habitat and other aspects of their biology and we will also learn about many different kinds of mantises.
This class will is very interactive. I enjoy questions and discussions and I like to encourage learners to make parallels with things they already know and to question the world around them. My aim is to transmit my passion for biology to the learners. I will use slides with a lot of pictures and diagrams so that learners can easily follow and stay interested.
I want learners to have fun with the topic, but still walk away with accurate scientific information.
