Advanced Level
Students will master verbal reasoning, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and test-taking strategies to build confidence and excel on test day by practicing: Each session combines direct instruction, interactive practice, and collaborative problem-solving. Students engage with test-style questions and receive immediate feedback. Weekly practice tests simulate real test conditions, followed by detailed review sessions. My teaching is highly interactive and student-centered. I share personal strategies for tackling difficult questions and create a supportive environment using humor and relatable examples. Lessons include slides, practice exercises, collaborative discussions, and live modeling of critical reading techniques. Students will actively engage in discussions, practice tests, and collaborative learning activities. I provide individualized feedback during each session, helping students refine their strategies and deepen their understanding. This class equips students with the skills and confidence they need to approach tests like the SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, with success. By focusing on personalized learning, we make preparation engaging, effective, and empowering.
