This course emphasizes problem-solving skills as students explore the dictionary while using order and sequencing, alphabetization, spelling, context, and more. In this lesson, students will review the information and skills presented in "How to Use a Dictionary: Part 1". Students will review basic dictionary terminology including guide words, entry words, pronunciation, and parts of speech. Both guided practice and independent practice will be provided by the teacher. See you in class and let's get started!
