I will offer written feedback and editing of submitted assignments. I will use the checklist given in the book to guide my feedback. I do not offer letter or number grades. In order for the assignments to be evaluated, they must be either typed or very neatly handwritten. The files should be uploaded in a direct Outschool message to me rather than posted on the main classroom page. Photos of handwritten work may be submitted provided the photos are oriented in the correct direction, taken from directly above, and fill the frame of the picture. If I cannot read it, I will ask for a different file to be uploaded. All submitted assignments must be double-spaced.Experiencia de clase

**Sample my IEW writing classes with my one-time class: Paragraph Writing (scroll down for link).** This class teaches IEW Units one and two using IEW's Theme Book, People and Places in the Community. Each class will focus on one lesson in the IEW book. Structure will be taught through key word outlines and writing paragraphs. Style will be introduced through the IEW dress-ups: the "ly" adverb and the who/which clause. Each class will include a greeting activity, a writing lesson, and a review exercise. Weekly homework will be given according to the People and Places in the Community suggested assignments. Details about assignments will be posted in the classroom following each class. A reminder message will be sent to each learner via Outschool message. Assignments that are submitted to me via Outschool messaging will receive written feedback according to the checklist included in the book. Please note that this class time may change based on Daylight Savings Time for the Central time zone.
