Students are encouraged to play the games numerous times in order to practice identifying complete sentences, fragments, and run-ons. The students will also be given a homework assignment (worksheet) after the last lesson to reinforce the skills they learned in the course.Experiencia de clase
In this 6-week course, we will have fun reviewing complete sentences, fragments, and run-ons using fun games such as Kahoot, Gimkit, and ABCya. Please note - Students can play the games numerous times to practice the skills after each lesson. *Students will also be given an optional homework assignment after the final lesson to reinforce what we learned. Students can submit the homework, and I will provide feedback within 48 hours.

In this lesson, the students will learn about subject and verb agreement. They will practice subject and verb agreement by playing several fun games. Lección 3:
Types of Sentences
In this lesson, the students will learn to identify the different types of sentences: declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory. They will also practice the correct punctuation and capitalization in sentences. They will practice this by playing several fun games. Lección 4:

Hello, my name is Amanda, and teaching brings me such joy. I have almost 15 years of experience teaching in a variety of positions: teacher, special ed co-teacher, academic coach, online teacher, and a homeschooling mom. I been homeschooling my own two sons, navigating their learning differences (autism, dyslexia, apraxia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia) and helping build their self-confidence. (I started homeschooling when my oldest was in 2nd grade, and he is now a senior in college. My youngest is now in high school.) I have experience with a variety of learners, including advanced students, students with learning differences, and English Language Learners (TESOL / TEFL certification). I strive to make classes fun for ALL learners!
I also love to cook! I show love to my family and friends by cooking and sharing a delicious homemade meal or a scrumptious dessert. (I owe my love of cooking & baking to my mom, who was a baker.) I invite your Home Chef to join me in my kitchen as we have fun cooking and baking delicious food that you can share as a family!
I believe that learning should always be fun. Students learn best when they enjoy what they are learning. I also want students to be comfortable coming to class, interacting, and asking questions.
