In our fast paced society today many people think being diagnosed with ADHD is a problem, but actually it is a major blessing when harnessed correctly!  Did you know that people with an ADHD brain are 300% more likely to start their own business?

In this course we will discuss: 
   - We will define ADHD
   - Introduce the different types of ADHD (yes there are different types)
   - Provide examples of people famous who have ADHD
   - Work collaboratively as a group to find ways to use our ADHD brains to be successful!

To begin there will be a get to know you session where students will be asked to share about their experiences. Followed by an informative interactive lecture on ADHD about the topics above.  Next the students will work in collaboration with me to brainstorm ideas of how to harness their ADHD to get more joy in their life.  Finally, the students will develop concrete plans of how to move forward to make their dreams more of a reality!

As a teacher of psychology I have studied and/or taught about ADHD for over 15 years.  My real life work with ADHD is very much personal to me.  My lovely wife (a successful entrepreneur) has ADHD, and my 7 year old son does as well.  For me the topic has become a passion that is apart of my daily life.  I embrace the joy of having 2 important people to me that think, behave, and feel different than myself because they challenge me to think outside the box.
