¡Cómo dibujar a Kang o Kodos de "Los Simpson: La casa-árbol del terror"!

Students will do a step by step drawing of Kang or Kodos.  They will vote on which one to draw in the beginning.  I will be demonstrating how to draw the characters by going step by step.  We will first draw them in pencil. We will go over the pencil with a black marker or colored pencil. We will finish the drawing by coloring them together as well.  If students want to make embellishments or change things in the characters they are free to.  If we finish one character we will start another.
At the beginning of class we will look at some pictures of the characters, talk a bit about them and then we will choose which picture to draw first.  While drawing I will be asking students questions about the Simpsons, their favorite episodes and characters. I will be checking in on students progress and will constantly be available for questions, tips, help if they need it.  
I am giving tools to artists so that they can more accurately capture and replicate something from observation.  However, I don't believe that copying should always be the goal and I really encourage artists to be happy with however their drawing looks.  Drawings that don't necessarily look just like the original can look even more visually interesting and are highly appreciated by me as being unique to the artist.  
At the end of the drawing students will share with each other and me if they feel comfortable.
