This class uses a slide show to present information, maps, and pictures to explain how the United States Navy was able to deliver soldiers and their equipment to the shores of Normandy on D-Day. Before troops could leave Omaha beach, Navy Destroyers played a key role in opening escape routes through concrete bunkers.
