Dinosaurs don’t go to school, but what if they did? In this lesson, students will talk about school behavior. First, we will discuss the story vocabulary (fidget, fuss, and growl). Then learners will put on their listening ears while listening to me read the story, “How Do Dinosaurs Go to School,” by Jane Yolen. After reading, learners will answer questions about the various dinosaur behaviors mentioned in the story and make a chart representing those behaviors. Some of the questions asked are: “How Do Dinosaurs Walk In the Hallway?” “How do you walk in the hallway?” “How Do Dinosaurs Act in Class?” "How do you act in class?" “What Do Dinosaurs Do When the Teacher Gives Directions?” "What do you do when your teacher gives directions?"
Metas de aprendizaje
In this one-time class, students will identify and discuss school behavior.

Hello! My name is Sharon, Teacher Sharon. I am both thankful and excited to have this opportunity to help children from all over the world have fun while learning. I love making learning fun!
I have my Masters of Education (MEd) and over 20 years of experience teaching and learning from children of all ages. I have experience as a nursery school director, a Kid's Club supervisor (twice) and a classroom teacher for Pre-K through high school. I have also taught technology, after-school elementary science classes, cupcake decorating, and brick building.
I am very fortunate to have grown up overseas and have lived all over the world. Some of my many passions include creating fun, educational classes, scuba diving, traveling, science, crafting, my precious dog, cat, fish and snails and of course teaching.
I like to keep class sizes small to help learners engage and participate. If your child is interested in any of my classes that are not currently scheduled, or if a different time or day would work better for you, please feel free to contact me.
Learning in my classroom is engaging, energetic, fun, enjoyable, upbeat and entertaining. "Your child won't want to leave at the end of class and will beg to come back for more." (That's my superhero catch phrase.)
NOTE: I am very flexible with class scheduling. If you are interested in one of my classes, but you don't see it listed on a day or time that you want, please find a class that is already listed when you want the class. Send me a message and I will do my best to switch the class that you want with the one that is already listed.
I look forward to helping your child have fun while learning. Have a wonderful day,
~Teacher Sharon🙂
