Hello! I am happy to be able to provide some educational and fun classes to your child! These classes are all about horses and dogs! You can expect to see classes that focus on learning horse terminology, body language, basic riding tips, and how horses can help your child be emotionally self aware. I also will have classes about dogs including: reasons to get a dog, safety around handling a dog, and other fun dog facts!

I have a Bachelor's in Animal Science from New Mexico State University. I participated in horse related classes such as Fitting and Selling, Equine Reproduction, Reigning, Western Pleasure, and Management of Equine Operations.

I have 20 years of hands on experience with horses. I have spent accumulatively 3 years giving beginner and intermediate riding lessons to children ages 8-14 years old. I was a member of 4-H for 5 years. During this time I mentored those younger than me in the horse project. During my time in 4-H I did both the horse project and dog project so you can expect to see some dog related classes as well!

I have spent the last 4 years working as a Product Specialist for EasyCare, Inc. This company manufactures hoof boots and natural hoof care products for horses. I spend my days educating people about what boot might be right for their horse in their unique situation. I enjoy educating others as well as myself on the ever changing world of horses.

Horses are my passion. I love stirring this passion in others, especially kids. Horse's have a lot of offer us. Working horses has had a great impact on my character development, self awareness, patience, taking ownership of my own actions, communicating through body language, money management, and problem solving. Truly there are limitless ways horses help develop essential life skills and coping mechanisms. I want every child to have the chance to develop those skills in a fun environment.
