Horse Lovers 101 is a fun, interactive introduction to the world of horses for young enthusiasts. We meet one time, and this class is perfect for any child who dreams of learning more about these magnificent animals, whether they’re future riders or just horse lovers. Through engaging discussions, virtual activities, and interactive content, we’ll explore the exciting world of horses—from different breeds to horse care, and even a bit of horse behavior. 

Students will learn basic horse anatomy and terms (mane, tail, hooves, etc.), common horse breeds (e.g., Arabian, Clydesdale, Thoroughbred) and their unique traits, and horse care essentials, including feeding, grooming, and stable maintenance. 

I teach using a combination of visual aids (slides with pictures), interactive discussions, and questions to get students thinking. The class will be relaxed but structured, with plenty of time for participation and curiosity. Students will also get a chance to express their thoughts and ask questions as we explore each new topic!

Learners will have plenty of opportunities to interact with me and their classmates. I encourage students to ask questions during the lesson, participate in discussions, and share their favorite fun facts they’ve learned. At the end of each class, we’ll have a short activity or game where students can show off what they know or simply have fun with their new knowledge!
