For students who have Math anxiety

 I set up the chat in the class for private. When applicable students can answer questions in the chat and only I get to see the answers.

I do not call on anyone to answer questions in front of the class, I simply write an exercise on the whiteboard and encourage all to answer via the chat, again in private and I give you private feedback.
 This lowers the anxiety level a ton. :)

If your learner has not joined the meeting 10 minutes after the class’s start time, the meeting may be cancelled, at the teacher’s discretion. This is considered a missed meeting and you are not entitled to a refund.(Outschool Policy)

                                                                        
NOTE : Students must have a reasonable amount of academic maturity to enroll. 

  Please let me know ahead of time (preferably 24 hours prior to class , or at least the night before) which exercises your child is experiencing difficulty.  
You can do this by taking a picture and uploading. 

I try to divide the class time evenly among the students present, so that everyone gets ans equal amount of time.

 I will show students how to do an exercise on the white board. They will learn  by actually doing example exercises during class. I will repeat with another exercise and will explain as many times as needed until the students are ready to do the exercises by themselves. Once started, I will check their answers for accuracy and follow up with any necessary explanations. I encourage all participants to try as many exercises as possible. I follow up the class with an upload of homework with the solutions.(When applicable).

NOTE: I can  accommodate student requests on homework topics if I am notified at least 24 hours in advance. We do not have to follow the topics below.

Week 1 :  Equations and inequalities. 

Week 2: Linear relationships and functions.

Week 3: Matrices.,

Week 4: Polynomials.

Week 5: Roots.

Week6 : Quadratic equations.

Week 7: Fractions: adding, subtracting, multiplying  and dividing. From basic to complex.

Week 8: Rational polynomial expressions.

Week 9: Exponential and logarithmic functions.

Week 10: Trigonometric functions, triangle trigonometry.

NOTE: The above topics is just a sample of what students can get help with.

              Students can upload ANY math topic covered in the 9th to 11th grade.
