Gestión del hogar y habilidades para la vida: Clase semanal

I love all things home, and I am excited to share how to run a home smoothly and effectively! So many young people struggle with home management skills once they leave home. It doesn't have to be this way! This class will give your student the basic skills so that they will be able to effectively manage their homes and lives. Students will be able to use these skills right away as well as in the future so that they can be well prepared for whatever their life will bring. I look forward to meeting your child and sharing some of my tips and tricks! The following topics will be covered in class: 

Week 1- Effective and simple meal planning including how to make simple as well as healthy recipes 
Week 2- Healthy and simple cleaning as well as how to make your own cleaners
Week 3- How to simplify, organize, and keep the clutter contained
Week 4- How to take care of laundry tasks easily and economically while still being earth friendly
Week 5- Simple time management tools and tricks such as how to use a planner
Week 6- Manners and etiquette for modern tweens and teens covering such topics as how to introduce yourself to someone you don’t know 
Week 7- Routines to keep your home running smoothly and efficiently
Week 8- Budgeting and being a savvy consumer in order to make your money go as far as possible
Week 9- How to put together a homemaking binder so that you can keep all of your homemaking systems in one place to use as a resource time and time again as well as how to plan a celebration 

Students will be given optional weekly assignments to complete so that they can practice the skills learned in class. My class style is always very welcoming and friendly. I use slides to present my material, and students are encouraged to participate in the discussions as much or as little as they feel comfortable. I look forward to meeting your child!
