‘Japanese Katakana Vocabulary Camp’ 1-week Multi-day course with Teacher Lynn (リン 先生).
** This class is for Ages 7 – 12 (flexible). Please see our other similar Japanese classes offered for older students.

The Japanese language has become extremely popular due to anime, J-pop and J-dramas!
This easy-going 1-week (4 days a week) camp is aimed at students who are interested in starting their Japanese language journey. Discover Japan through its language! 

In this camp, students will be introduced to 1 of the main Japanese writing systems- Katakana. 
Then, students will decipher a series of Katakana words of animals, clothing, countries, and fruits to their English meaning! Students will be surprised by the Japanese they already know!
Students are expected to verbally participate in the class activities and games. Cameras and Microphones are requested to be ON.
In this class, all Japanese is accompanied with Rōmaji (Roman alphabet) for easy reading and following along. No prior Japanese language learning is required - Easy Japanese-y! 

This is a 1-week course. Live class is 4-times a week. 
:) Classes are on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. No Wednesdays.

TOPICS:
Day 1 Monday: Intro to Japanese Katakana, Animals 
Day 2 Tuesday: Fruit 
Day 3 Thursday: Countries
Day 4 Friday: Clothing

Let’s have fun learning Japanese!
Please bring a notebook/paper and pencil/pen to class. Only Zoom on the Outschool platform is used for this class.
