The teacher uses the classic Socratic method of teaching, a form of cooperative dialogue between teacher and student based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to draw out ideas and underlying presuppositions. The learner's progress will be assessed through informal assessment.

This is an ongoing class. Learners will be able to join at anytime as lessons do not build upon each other. The history of civilizations will be taught in an engaging and entertaining way for learners aged 7-11 years of age. It will be a concise survey of the culture and civilization of mankind through age-appropriate story telling by a seasoned teacher. An engaging journey through history, exploring the the great lives, ideas, and accomplishments. The towering themes of history will be referenced. Time periods will include The Eastern World  (Near eastern, Egypt, Persia), The Life Of Greece (Ancient Greece & Hellenistic), Caesar & Christ (The history of Rome, early Christianity & the time of Constantine The Great), The Middle Ages, The Renaissance, The Reformation (Europe outside of Italy), The Age Of Reason, The Age Of Louis XIV (France, Europe & The Near East), The Age Of Enlightenment (Voltaire, France, Britain, Germany in the 18th century), Rousseau & Revolution, The Age Of Napoleon (Napoleon 1 of France and his times) and many more up through the current Digital Age.
