In this class, learners will compete against each other answering questions about The American Revolution from its beginnings up until the Signing of the Declaration of Independence. Whoever answers the most questions correctly wins! No prior knowledge of the American Revolution is required. To make things fair learners will receive a document that contains all the answers prior to class, which presents multiple perspectives which will also be given in class. I'm a huge history buff. I love learning about history and doing research about different time periods. The American Revolution is an important part of my family history, as one of my ancestors was an aid to George Washington during the Battle of Yorktown. I do extensive research for all of my history classes and try to present facts in a balanced and factual way, while keeping things interesting and fun for the learners.

This class covers the American Revolution, while the material will be presented in an age appropriate manner, and if learners pose any questions about the topic they will be answered sensitively and age appropriately while as accurately as possible and age appropriately. If parents have any concerns they should contact the teacher.
