What are you planning to do this winter?Let’s travel to Greece and learn more about its history and mythology .

Week 1: ( Days 1-3)
 Three-day trip to archaeological sites in Greece (Visiting the Parthenon , the Oracle of Delphi , the Temple of Zeus in Olympia , Temple of Poseidon in Sounio ,Knossos and Phaistos, Vergina – the birthplace of Alexander the Great)  

Learners will visit the most important archaeological sites of Greece and learn more about their history! We will watch videos and through short power-point presentation we will be introduced to facts about temples , gods and life of ancient Greeks .In the end of every class learners will do  short interactive quizzes .

Week 2: (Days 1-3): 
Greek myths connected with temples in Greece 
How Athens took its name 
Daidalus and Icarus
The first robot Talos
Theseus and the Minotaur 
Apollo and the Serpent
the Olympic games 
The Sun of Vergina


We will learn myths that are connected with these amazing archaeological sites .
Watching 360ᵒ virtual videos , aerial panoramas and short presentations they will learn a popular myth that accompanies the place we study. For the Greeks mythology played an important role in their history and daily life . All archaeological sites have an important myth that underlies their existence. In the end of every class learners will play games, do more quizzes and worksheets related to the material we cover in class .
