Overview--This course is designed to be the equivalent of a high school world history course. This course will cover the 6 major periods of world history from early times to the present day. Students will develop and practice the same skills, practices, and methods as a historian. Key historical concepts will be examined through class discussions, videos, writing activities, and map reading.

In the captivating realm of high school education, Gina Jude Curriculum takes students on an exhilarating journey through world history that feels more like an epic adventure than a traditional class! Picture this: instead of dusty textbooks and monotonous lectures, students embark on a quest where they time-travel to ancient civilizations, engage in lively debates about the Renaissance's impact on modern society, and even put themselves in the shoes of historical figures during immersive role-playing activities. With interactive projects that encourage creativity—imagine creating art pieces inspired by Impressionist painters or staging dramatic reenactments of pivotal battles—the course invites every student to explore the history of out world not just as dates and events but as stories filled with intrigue, drama, and inspiration. This innovative approach not only fosters critical thinking skills but also ignites a passion for discovery that's bound to keep young historians eagerly flipping through their imaginary passports!
